Author Bio

The author is a former marketing and advertising professional whose work focused on developing campaigns promoting high performance outerwear and gear for the rugged outdoors.

Born in the Philadelphia suburbs and raised in Chester County Pennsylvania, he spent his summers exploring the woods and rivers of northern Maine and Quebec on foot and by canoe.

A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster Pa, he holds a degree in anthropology with a focus on paleoanthropology — the study of the human fossil record and the ongoing search for evidence of archaic man.

His upbringing and education combined with a long-standing passion for wide open spaces have infused in him a unique perspective and curiosity of the natural world – both past and present – and how we fit into it.

As a result, his works of fiction merge elements of scientific inquiry and discovery set against historically accurate backdrops and oft-times remote and inhospitable places.
